Utilizing 30+ years of experience in direct sales, sales management, and sales coaching, Mark helps other sales professionals and companies improve their overall sales process and productivity, which ultimately accomplishes their goal: increased and more profitable sales.

Early on, Mark received his sales training from a well known, now $1B+, international consumer products company: Lego Toys. That regimented, consistent sales coaching allowed Mark to go on to produce positive results in a variety of industries: toys, sporting goods, pharmaceutical, and industrial. Within those industries, Mark sold into the highest levels of national retail chains (Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, K-Mart, Target, Toys R Us) and healthcare facilities (Mayo, MD Anderson, Johns Hopkins, NIH, National Navy hospital, etc.).

Mark’s experience also includes management of a direct sales force, independent sales rep groups, and two start-up companies.

Key Career Accomplishments:

  • For the past 6 years, worked directly with small business owners to assess the problems holding back their sales revenue, and implementing new processes, or people, to turn sales around and help those companies reach their goals.
  • Initiated and implemented the sales plan and worked the 10-month process that resulted in Lego’s 1st national contract with Wal-Mart.
  • Revamped the entire Eastern Regional independent sales rep groups for Stearns Manufacturing—a national manufacturer of high-end life jackets and rainwear. That resulted in a 20+% sales increase over 4 straight years.
  • Lead the sales effort that built a $20M roller skate business, which included the Barbie license for girl’s roller skates, and items listed in all major national retail chains.
  • Built a start-up in-line skate business from scratch, including product line and independent sales force.  Sales in 1st full year were $4M+. We also were the first company to introduce what became an industry staple: children’s in-line skate package that included color matched safety gear: knee/wrist/elbow pads.
  • Entered an entirely new industry, pharmaceuticals, and within 2 years secured product distribution into 6 of the top 10 cancer hospitals in the country.
